Ho Chi Minh City is a major transportation hub in Vietnam, centered around Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), Saigon Railway Station, and two primary intercity bus terminals: Mien Dong Bus Station and Mien Tay Bus Station. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is the city's sole international airport and the busiest in Vietnam, located approximately 7-8 kilometers from the city center. Saigon Railway Station, situated in District 3, serves as the southernmost point and a significant hub in the national railway network. For bus travel, Mien Dong Bus Station primarily handles routes to Northern, Central, and Southeast Vietnamese provinces, while Mien Tay Bus Station connects to the Mekong Delta region.
