Quy Nhon is primarily served by Phu Cat Airport (UIH), located about 30-35 kilometers northwest of the city center. For rail travel, passengers typically utilize Dieu Tri Railway Station, approximately 15 kilometers from Quy Nhon, though a direct Quy Nhon Railway Station also exists for some services. The city also features a main bus station, Quy Nhon Bus Station, situated on its southern end.

By Air:

Direct domestic flights arrive at Phu Cat Airport (UIH) from major Vietnamese cities such as Ho Chi Minh City (approx. 1 hour 15 minutes) and Hanoi (approx. 1 hour 35 minutes). Airlines including Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, Bamboo Airways, and Vietravel Airlines operate these routes. One-way fares can range from approximately 830,000 VND to 2,900,000 VND (about $35 - $120 USD). Upon arrival, shuttle buses to the city center cost around 50,000 VND, while taxis are about 200,000 - 250,000 VND.

By Train:

The most practical train option is to travel to Dieu Tri Railway Station, about a 25-minute drive from Quy Nhon's city center, which offers frequent services from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. A direct overnight train service also connects Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon Station, an approximately 13-hour journey. Travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Dieu Tri generally takes 10-12 hours, with costs ranging from 500,000 VND to 800,000 VND (about $25 - $40 USD). From Hanoi, the train journey to Dieu Tri can take around 20-22 hours, with prices starting from 1,000,000 VND (about $43 USD). Taxis and buses are available from Dieu Tri to the city.

By Bus:

Sleeper buses offer an economical way to reach Quy Nhon from various cities. From Ho Chi Minh City, the journey typically takes 12-14 hours, with tickets costing between 260,000 VND and 600,000 VND (about $11 - $30 USD). Buses also connect Quy Nhon with cities like Hanoi (around 20 hours) and Hoi An (6-8 hours).
