Exploring the various cave systems, such as Huyen Khong Cave, reveals impressive natural formations and spiritual sanctuaries.

Cost: The entrance fee for Thuy Son (Water Mountain) is 40,000 VND for adults. An optional elevator ride is available for 15,000 VND per person, per way, which can help avoid the initial stairs. Entry to Am Phu Cave is an additional 20,000 VND. Parking for motorbikes is typically around 5,000 VND.

Transport: The Marble Mountains are approximately 12 kilometers south of Da Nang city center. A taxi or Grab ride typically takes 15-30 minutes and can cost around 14.99 USD (approximately 350,000 VND) for a private car one-way. Upon arrival, I found myself in a 'French Village,' complete with European-style architecture. The highlight for many is the iconic Golden Bridge, a pedestrian bridge held aloft by two giant stone hands, offering incredible photographic opportunities and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The resort also features various gardens, temples, and an amusement park.

Cost: The cable car ticket, which includes access to the attractions, is the primary cost. While exact 2025 prices vary, they are significant, typically around 750,000 - 850,000 VND for adults for a combo ticket including cable car and some attractions. It is advisable to check current prices directly on the Sun World Ba Na Hills website or through tour operators.

Transport: Ba Na Hills is located approximately 25-35 kilometers southwest of Da Nang city center. The drive takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Transport options include: private car/taxi (350,000-500,000 VND one-way, or 500,000-600,000 VND for a round trip including waiting time) , shared shuttle bus (130,000-150,000 VND round trip) , or renting a motorbike (150,000-250,000 VND per day). Sun Group also operates a free shuttle bus from Da Nang city in the afternoon for return trips.

Exploring Da Nang's local food markets offers an authentic culinary adventure. I enjoyed wandering through places like Con Market or Bac My An Market, immersing myself in the vibrant atmosphere and the aromas of Vietnamese street food. It's an excellent opportunity to sample a wide array of local specialties, from savory Banh Xeo and Banh Mi to fresh seafood and refreshing Che Thai. Engage with the local vendors; while some signs might be in Vietnamese, the delicious food speaks for itself.

Cost: Food prices at local markets are very affordable. For instance, a Banh Mi can be as low as 30,000 VND, Banh Xeo around 50,000 VND, and Banh Trang Nuong (Vietnamese pizza) for 10,000 VND. Seafood at night markets can be enjoyed for around 300,000 VND for two people.

Transport: Markets like Con Market are centrally located and often within walking distance of many hotels. Bac My An Market is also easily accessible. Taxis and Grab are convenient for reaching these locations.
