<p>Direct flights are available between Chumphon Airport (CJM) and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok. Airlines such as Nok Air and Thai AirAsia operate these flights, with travel times of approximately 1 hour. Ticket prices typically range from $40-$80 (approximately THB 1,300-3,600). From Chumphon Airport, one can reach Chumphon Town via shared minivan or private taxi, with minivans from Fame Tour costing around THB 56 ($2) and taxis ranging from $10-$53 (up to THB 1,000 for private).</p>

<p>Chumphon Train Station is a primary transit point for those traveling along Thailand's southern railway line. Trains to and from Bangkok (Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal) typically take 6.5 to 8 hours. Ticket prices vary by class, with 3rd Class Fan from THB 180 and 2nd Class Sleeper AC up to THB 820. The train station is near Chumphon city center, and local songthaews or taxis are available for transport to hotels, with taxis to the city center costing around THB 100.</p>

<p>Buses connect Chumphon with Bangkok and other major cities. Services from Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai) to Chumphon take about 6.5 to 9 hours. Bus fares from Bangkok to Chumphon range from approximately THB 328 to THB 608. Several operators, including Transport Co and Suwannatee, offer daily departures.</p>

<h3>By Ferry (to/from Koh Tao):</h3>
<p>Chumphon is a major gateway to Koh Tao. High-speed catamaran services, primarily by Lomprayah, depart from Thung Makham Noi Pier. The ferry journey to Koh Tao takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, with a one-way ticket costing around THB 750 ($21). There are typically two daily departures, at 7:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Combined bus and ferry tickets are also available from Chumphon Train Station to Koh Tao, starting from THB 500.</p>
