  <p>Ranong, located in Southern Thailand, serves as the main transport hub for reaching Koh Phayam. This city features a domestic airport and a central bus station.                       <strong>By Flight::</strong> Flights depart from Don Mueang Airport (DMK) in Bangkok directly to Ranong Airport (UNN). The flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, with fares typically ranging from 1,400 to 3,300 THB.  Upon arrival at Ranong Airport, a taxi ride to Ranong Pier takes about 20 to 25 minutes.

                      <strong>By Bus::</strong> Buses from Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai) travel to Ranong Bus Station. This journey can take between 8.5 to 14 hours, with tickets costing approximately 437 to 900 THB.  From the bus station, a songthaew to the pier typically costs 15 to 80 THB and takes around 15 minutes.
