Banaue, a highland town in Ifugao Province, serves as a primary hub for accessing the famous rice terraces and surrounding areas. The town features a bus terminal, with tricycles and jeepneys readily available for local transportation to nearby attractions and villages.

From Manila to Banaue:

The most common way to reach Banaue is by overnight bus. Ohayami Trans and Coda Lines offer daily trips. Travel time is approximately 9-11 hours. Ohayami Trans departs from Sampaloc, Manila, with fares ranging from PHP 648 to PHP 740 (approximately USD 12-16). Coda Lines departs from Cubao or Quezon City, with fares from PHP 667 for Express buses to PHP 780 for VIP buses (approximately USD 15-18). It is advisable to book tickets in advance, especially during peak seasons. There are no direct flights to Ifugao province.

From Baguio to Banaue:

Buses operated by Ohayami Bus Transit and KMS bus take approximately 3-8 hours. Ohayami Trans also has a direct daily trip in the late afternoon. Alternatively, the Highland Igorots Transport Cooperative offers van trips, taking about 6 hours for approximately PHP 800 (as of June 2022).

From Sagada to Banaue:

You can take a jeepney to Bontoc (approximately 1 hour) and then transfer to a local bus or van to Banaue (approximately 2 hours). Coda Lines also provides direct afternoon bus trips, completing the journey in about 3 hours for PHP 300-350.

From Banaue to Manila:

Ohayami Trans offers trips from Banaue to Manila, typically departing around 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Coda Lines also has return services with departures from Banaue at 1:00 PM, 4:30 PM, 5:30 PM, and 6:30 PM.

From Banaue to Baguio:

Ohayami Trans operates trips from Banaue to Baguio around 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
