Davao City is a major transportation hub in Mindanao, featuring Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO), the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (Ecoland Bus Terminal), and seaports at Sasa Wharf and Sta. Ana Wharf.

By Air:

Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO) serves as the primary gateway. Flights to and from Manila (MNL) are frequent, typically taking 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 5 minutes with fares ranging from approximately ₱1,700 to ₱16,000+. Nonstop flights are also available from Cebu City (CEB), taking around 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes, with fares starting from about ₱1,591.

By Bus:

The Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (Ecoland Bus Terminal) connects Davao to various cities. Direct bus services to Manila (PITX/Pasay) include ferry crossings, with travel times ranging from 35 to 48 hours and costs from ₱1,400 to ₱2,840. Buses also connect to major Mindanao cities like General Santos (3h 15m, from US$8), Cagayan de Oro (5h 20m, from US$19), and Butuan City (6h 30m, from US$20).

By Ferry:

2GO Travel operates weekly ferry services from Davao City. Trips to Manila take around 48 to 59 hours, with fares ranging from approximately $61 to $253. Ferries to Iloilo City take about 38 hours, costing around $94.50. Short ferry rides to Samal Island are available hourly from Sasa Wharf and Sta. Ana Wharf, taking approximately 15 minutes and costing as low as ₱10-₱20 for foot passengers.

From Davao International Airport to City Center:

Taxis and ride-hailing services are available, with a journey to the city center typically taking 20-30 minutes and costing around €3 (PHP 182.61) to PHP 300. Jeepneys offer a more economical option from nearby stops.
