Camiguin Island is primarily accessed via its airport in Mambajao (CGM) for air travel, and through its main ferry ports, Benoni and Balbagon, connecting to Mindanao and Bohol.
By Air:
Direct flights to Camiguin Airport (CGM) are available from Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) via Cebgo, with a flight time of approximately 50 minutes.
Sunlight Air offers direct flights from Manila (MNL) to Camiguin on selected dates.
For those traveling from Manila, a common route involves flying to Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB) and then taking a connecting flight to Camiguin, with overall travel times varying.
Alternatively, flights from Manila can be taken to Laguindingan International Airport (CGY) in Cagayan de Oro (CDO), which then requires land and sea travel to Camiguin.
By Sea (Ferries):
From Balingoan Port in Misamis Oriental, regular ferry services operate to Benoni Port in Camiguin. The journey typically takes around 1 to 1.5 hours and costs approximately PHP 252-359.
From Jagna Port in Bohol, direct ferry services are available to Balbagon Port in Camiguin via Super Shuttle Ferry. This route generally takes about 4 hours and fares start from around PHP 976.
From Cagayan de Oro City's Macabalan Port, OceanJet offers a fast craft service to Benoni Port in Camiguin, which takes approximately 1.5 hours and costs around PHP 900.
Land Transfers to Ferry Ports:
If arriving at Laguindingan Airport (CGY) near Cagayan de Oro, vans or buses are available to transport travelers to Balingoan Port (approximately 2-3 hours), where ferries depart for Camiguin.
