Tacloban's primary transport hub is the Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport (TAC), which handles domestic flights. The city also has various bus terminals connecting to other parts of the Philippines, and a port for ferry services to nearby islands and potentially Luzon.

By Air (from Manila):

Flights offer the quickest way to reach Tacloban. Major airlines like Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia operate frequent daily flights from Manila to Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport (TAC). The flight typically takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. Fares can range from approximately PHP 1,500 to PHP 4,000, though prices vary significantly based on the airline, booking time, and season.

By Bus (from Manila):

Bus services from Manila, provided by companies such as DLTB and Philtranco, offer a more economical travel option. Buses depart from terminals including Cubao and Pasay. The journey is considerably longer, taking approximately 22 to 30 hours, with fares generally ranging from PHP 1,000 to PHP 3,000+.

By Ferry and Land Travel (from Cebu):
