This service operates on Thursdays from Tulehu to Banda (departing at 9:00 AM) and returns on Sundays from Banda to Tulehu (departing at 7:00 AM). The journey takes about 5 hours, with ticket prices ranging from 550,000 IDR for Executive to 1,000,000 IDR for Premium.
Indonesia's national boat service, PELNI, offers a reliable, albeit slower, option to the Banda Islands from Ambon. Several PELNI ships, including LABOBAR (8-hour trip) and PANGRANGO, SANGIANG, and SABUK NUSANTARA 106 (14-16-hour trips), operate roughly twice a month. Tickets for PELNI ships can be purchased at the Pelni office in Ambon or through their website/app, with prices for economy around 141,000 - 175,000 IDR. Cabins may be arranged onboard for an additional fee.
