Koh Rong offers a vibrant mix of culinary experiences, from authentic Cambodian street food and fresh seafood to highly-rated Italian and European dishes, largely concentrated around the main villages and beach areas.

1. Enocafe Coffee & Italian Restaurant

Cuisine: Italian, Coffee & Desserts

Nestled in Koh Toch Village, Enocafe offers a warm, inviting two-story ambiance, reminiscent of a cozy Italian trattoria. We found the handmade pastas, like the rich gnocchi and flavorful ravioli with tomato sauce, to be exceptional, prepared with evident care. Their wood-fired pizzas are a staple, and for a lighter option, the classic sandwiches are satisfying. Complementing the food, their specialty coffees and decadent homemade cakes provide a perfect end to any meal, whether it's a leisurely breakfast, lunch, or a romantic dinner. It tends to fill up quickly, so arriving early is a good tip.

Price: Piadina: $3-$5, Pasta: $6-$8, Pizza: $7-$10 (USD)

Getting There: Located in Koh Toch Village, opposite Sunflower Guesthouse. Easily accessible on foot from the main pier area of Koh Toch.

2. Barracuda Seafood Restaurant

Cuisine: Fresh Seafood

Set right on the beach, Barracuda Seafood Restaurant offers a quintessential coastal dining experience with breathtaking ocean views. We indulged in perfectly grilled lobsters and a flavorful fish curry, truly showcasing the freshness of the locally caught seafood. Each dish highlighted the quality of the ingredients, prepared simply yet exquisitely. The atmosphere is laid-back and ideal for a relaxed meal, whether it's a casual lunch or a romantic dinner with the sound of waves lapping nearby.

Price: Main dishes: $7-$15+ (USD), with lobster priced higher based on weight.

Getting There: Located on Koh Toch Beach, easily walkable from most accommodations in the main Koh Toch area. Ask locals for directions as signage can be limited.

3. Sigi's Thai Food

Cuisine: Authentic Thai Street Food

For a truly local and budget-friendly experience, we found Sigi's Thai Food to be an absolute gem. This simple street food stall, run by a Thai chef, serves generous portions of authentic Thai dishes like pad see ew and pad Thai. It's a no-frills spot with bar seating, attracting a mix of backpackers and locals. We highly recommend trying their curries, which are incredibly flavorful and hearty. The portions are substantial, making it excellent value.

Price: Main dishes: $2-$3 (USD), Angkor beer: $1 (USD).

Getting There: Located on the second line behind White Rose Guesthouse in Koh Toch Village. It's a short walk up a lane from the main beach area.

4. Eat Pray Love

Cuisine: Italian, Pizza

Perched on Sok San Beach, Eat Pray Love impressed us with its exceptional Italian cuisine, especially considering its somewhat remote location. We savored their fresh-made gnocchi and a variety of pizzas and pastas, crafted with a mix of local and imported ingredients. The open-air upstairs dining area provides some of the best sunset views in Sok San Village, creating a truly memorable ambiance for a relaxed dinner. Reservations are recommended due to its popularity.

Price: Pizzas and pastas: $6-$12 (USD).

Getting There: Located in Sok San Village on Sok San Beach. From Koh Toch, a taxi or shared minivan can take you (approx. 30-45 minutes, cost varies). Some resorts on Sok San Beach may offer shuttle services. It's best to confirm directions locally.

5. Paradise Bungalows Restaurant

Cuisine: European & Khmer, Wine Bar

The restaurant at Paradise Bungalows offers one of the most inviting atmospheres on the island, with beautiful bamboo lighting, elegant teak furniture, and comfortable lounging pillows. We enjoyed a delightful mix of European and local Khmer dishes. The menu includes German specialties alongside Cambodian favorites, and their wine selection is notably extensive for the island. It’s a perfect spot for those seeking a relaxed yet refined dining experience, especially for dinner.

Price: Main dishes: $6-$15 (USD). Wine by the glass/bottle is available.

Getting There: Located within Paradise Bungalows on Koh Toch Beach. It is easily accessible on foot from the main Koh Toch pier area.
