By Car/Taxi:

Traveling from Colombo to Galle by private car or taxi via the Southern Expressway usually takes about 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 10 minutes. Taxi fares can range from LKR 18,000 to LKR 23,000 (approximately $55 to $73 USD), with private minivan options available at higher costs.
