Sigiriya itself does not have a major transport hub, with the closest significant centers being Dambulla for bus connections and Habarana for train services. These towns serve as crucial transit points for travelers heading to Sigiriya from other parts of Sri Lanka. Colombo and Kandy are common starting locations for journeys to the area.
