For bus travel, the city is serviced by major terminals such as the Idgah Bus Stand and the Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT). While Agra has a domestic airport (AGR), it primarily handles flights from select Indian cities, with the nearest major international airport being Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi.

By Train:

Traveling to Agra by train is a popular and efficient choice, especially from Delhi. High-speed options like the Gatimaan Express cover the journey from Delhi in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Other trains typically take between 2.5 to 5 hours. Fares can begin from around ₹150 for general class, increasing for higher comfort levels.

By Bus:

Extensive bus services connect Agra to nearby major cities such as Delhi, Jaipur, and Lucknow. The journey from Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway typically takes between 3 to 5 hours. Bus ticket prices generally range from ₹200 to ₹3,000, depending on the service type (government or private, AC or non-AC).

By Taxi/Car:

Private taxis and car rentals offer a direct and convenient way to reach Agra, particularly from Delhi. The drive usually spans 2 to 5 hours. One-way taxi fares from Delhi generally start from around ₹1,888 and can go up to ₹4,314, varying by vehicle type and service.

By Air:

Agra Airport (AGR) handles domestic flights from cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, primarily operated by IndiGo Airlines. For international arrivals, Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi is the closest major hub. From Delhi Airport, one can easily connect to Agra via train, bus, or taxi.
