Cabo Polonio, a remote coastal settlement and national park, does not allow direct vehicle access into the village itself. All visitors must leave private cars at the 'Puerta del Polonio' or 'Cabo Polonio (Station)' visitor center located on Route 10, from which specialized 4x4 vehicles provide onward transport.
