Direct flights are available from major Brazilian cities like São Paulo (approximately 1 hour 5 minutes) and Rio de Janeiro (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes), as well as international destinations such as Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Lisbon. One-way domestic flights can start from around $47-$141, with round-trip options from $97-$98.

Airport Transfers:

From FLN, taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber are available, typically reaching the city center in 20-30 minutes for an estimated cost of R$ 40-50. Public bus line 461 offers a more economical option, taking about 40-46 minutes and costing approximately R$ 6. Shuttle services are also available, with a travel time of around 15 minutes for about R$ 60.

By Bus (Long Distance):

Florianópolis is well-connected by long-distance buses. For example, a bus journey from Rio de Janeiro can take around 16-18 hours and cost between R$ 370 and R$ 900. FlixBus offers routes from various cities, with tickets potentially starting as low as $22.48-$23.98.

By Car:

Renting a car provides flexibility to explore Florianópolis and the surrounding areas. Car rental companies operate at FLN and in the city, with daily rates starting from approximately $13. An International Driving Permit is often required.
