Direct international flights are available from São Paulo and Campinas, Brazil. Flights from Buenos Aires typically take around 2 hours and 25 minutes. Indicative one-way fares can start from approximately $35, with round-trip options from about $70. From the airport, taxis offer a direct route to the city center, taking around 25 minutes, while public bus line 72 provides a more economical option, taking roughly 35 minutes and costing approximately 221 pesos, payable with a SUBE card.

By Bus:

Extensive long-distance bus services connect Bariloche with various Argentine cities including Buenos Aires, El Bolsón, Esquel, Mendoza, and Córdoba. Travel from Buenos Aires can take 20 to 25 hours, with ticket prices ranging from about $60 to $142. Options for more comfortable sleeper seats (coche cama or supercama) are available for longer journeys. Buses also link Bariloche with destinations in Chile, such as Osorno, Valdivia, and Puerto Montt.

By Car Rental:

Car rental services are readily available at the airport and in downtown Bariloche, with companies like NextCar, Sixt, and Avis offering various vehicle types. Renting a car provides flexibility for exploring the scenic surroundings like Circuito Chico and accessing ski resorts. Average daily costs for a medium-sized car are around $57. Driving from distant cities like Buenos Aires is generally not recommended due to the long travel times, often exceeding 20 hours.
