In the Flinders Ranges, affordable accommodation is predominantly found within well-appointed campgrounds and basic cabins at various station stays, offering a practical base for exploring the area. While traditional hostels are not a feature, shared facilities at these locations provide opportunities for social engagement.

Situated within the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, this campground offers a true immersion in the outback landscape, with both powered and unpowered sites available under large river red gums.
