Gaziantep is served by Gaziantep Oğuzeli International Airport (GZT), the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Intercity Bus Terminal (Gaziantep Otogarı), and the Gaziantep Railway Station (Gaziantep Garı). The airport is located approximately 15-21 kilometers southwest of the city center. The main intercity bus terminal is situated about 5.9 kilometers from the city center. Gaziantep Railway Station is centrally located at the intersection of Zafer and İstasyon Streets, also connecting to the city's tram system.

By Air:

Travelers can fly into Gaziantep Oğuzeli International Airport (GZT). Direct flights connect Gaziantep to major Turkish cities like Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, with some international routes available. Flights from Istanbul typically take around 1 hour 45 minutes, with one-way fares sometimes starting from $47 (approximately ₺1,510) and round-trip flights from Istanbul around ₺2,643 (approximately $80). From the airport, Havaş shuttle buses provide service to the city center, taking approximately 30-35 minutes and costing around 13 TL. Public city buses also offer connections, and taxis are available, with a journey to the city center typically lasting 20-30 minutes and fares ranging from €4-€6 to €100-€260.

By Bus:

The Gaziantep Bus Terminal offers extensive connections to over 35 cities across Turkey. Bus journeys from Istanbul can take 16 to 24 hours, with tickets ranging from ₺1,300 to ₺2,300 (approximately $40-$70). From Ankara, bus tickets are generally ₺650-₺770 (approximately $20-$24). Shorter routes include Adana, taking about 3 hours 10 minutes and costing around ₺280 (approximately $9), and Şanlıurfa, taking approximately 2 hours 20 minutes and costing about ₺250 (approximately $8). Local public buses connect the bus terminal to the city center, or a taxi can be taken for about 200 TL (March 2024) in roughly 14 minutes.

By Train:

Gaziantep Railway Station is primarily served by the Gaziray suburban rail system, which began operations in late 2022. This commuter line runs every 30 minutes, connecting the city center with industrial zones. Regional train services operate daily from Nizip and a daily train from Adana serves Narlı, which is 30 kilometers north of Gaziantep. A high-speed rail project connecting Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye, and Gaziantep is expected to be completed by 2027, significantly reducing travel times between these cities.
