Getting There and Away

Ronda is served by a central train station and a bus station, both conveniently located within walking distance of each other and the town center.

From Malaga:

  • Bus:: Direct bus services are available from Malaga's main bus station to Ronda, with journeys typically taking around 2 hours 35 minutes and costing approximately €12–25. Services operate twice daily.
  • Train:: Direct trains from Malaga Maria Zambrano to Ronda take approximately 1 hour 47 minutes to 2.5 hours. Some services may require a change at Antequera-Santa Ana. Fares can range from €13–114, with cheaper tickets starting around €15–17.
  • Car:: Driving from Malaga to Ronda typically takes 1 hour 34 minutes to 2 hours. Two routes exist: a scenic coastal route via Marbella (A-397), which can be winding, or a faster inland route via the A-357 and A-367. Car rental costs are approximately €15–22.

From Seville:

  • Bus:: Direct buses from Seville's Plaza de Armas bus station to Ronda take around 2 hours 15 minutes. Fares are typically between €15–29. Services operate twice daily.
  • Train:: Train journeys from Seville-Santa Justa to Ronda usually require a change at Cordoba-Central or Antequera, with total travel times ranging from 3 hours to 3 hours 50 minutes. Ticket prices are generally higher than buses, averaging €22–100.
  • Car:: Driving from Seville to Ronda takes approximately 1 hour 38 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, covering about 123-130 km. Car rental costs are approximately €20–28.
