Virje Waterfall is approximately 3.5-4 km from Bovec, a 9-minute drive or a 50-minute to 1.5-hour walk. A hop-on hop-off bus runs in summer to Plužna, followed by a 15-20 minute walk. Kozjak Waterfall is near Kobarid, about 20.7-27 km from Bovec. It can be reached by bus to Kobarid (approx. 30-31 minutes, €3-€13, followed by a 20-30 minute walk) or taxi (approx. 30-31 minutes, €27-€40). Driving takes about 30 minutes.

5. Exploring Kluže Fortress

This historic fortress, perched above the Koritnica Gorge, offers a tangible glimpse into the region's past.
