By Ferry:

Caledonian MacBrayne operates a ferry service from Tarbert (East Pier) to Portavadie on the Cowal peninsula. This scenic crossing takes about 25 minutes and runs hourly from 8 AM to 6 PM. A return fare for a car is around £20.30, and £6.60 per adult.

By Train (indirect):

While there is no direct train to Tarbert, you can take a train from Glasgow to Tarbet (Arrochar & Tarbet) on Loch Lomond, which takes approximately 1 hour and 13 minutes and costs around £18. From there, you would need to switch to a bus or car for the onward journey to Tarbert, Loch Fyne.
