Ulcinj's primary transport hub is its central bus station. The nearest international airports are Podgorica (TGD) and Tivat (TIV) in Montenegro, and Tirana (TIA) in Albania. While Ulcinj itself does not have a train station or direct ferry port, the nearby city of Bar offers train and international ferry connections.

  • Tivat Airport (TIV): Situated roughly 85-90 km from Ulcinj, a taxi journey takes approximately 2 hours and costs between €70-€80.
  • Tirana International Airport (TIA), Albania: Located about 71-100 km from Ulcinj, a bus journey involving transfers, often in Shkoder, can take around 5 hours 8 minutes.

Buses:

  • Ulcinj's bus station provides extensive connections to major Montenegrin cities like Podgorica, Bar, Budva, and Kotor, as well as international routes to destinations such as Tirana and Shkoder in Albania, and potentially further afield to cities like Belgrade and Dubrovnik.
