Services typically run twice daily during summer.

By Bus from Akureyri:

By Air and Bus (via Akureyri):

While Blönduós Airport (BLO) does not have scheduled flights, travelers can fly into Akureyri Airport (AEY), the nearest airport with commercial services, located about 148 kilometers away. From Akureyri, onward travel to Blönduós is possible by bus or rental car.
