  • From Athens: The drive typically takes 3.5 to 4 hours (approximately 300 km) on well-maintained roads with applicable tolls.
  • From Kalamata Airport (KLX): A scenic drive of about 1.5 hours (around 80 km) connects directly to Limeni, with car rental options readily available at the airport.

By Bus:

Reaching Limeni by bus involves connecting services to nearby towns.

  • From Athens: A journey typically involves taking a bus from Athens (KTEL Kifisou) to Isthmos, then a connecting bus to Areopoli, with a total travel time of approximately 5 hours 17 minutes, costing between €18 and €35. From Areopoli, Limeni is a short taxi ride of about 10 minutes or a 5 km walk.
  • From Kalamata: Buses frequently run to Areopoli (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours), from which Limeni is a short 5 km taxi ride or walk.
