Paros offers a versatile drinking scene with options ranging from charming waterfront cocktail bars to lively beach clubs, predominantly centered around Naoussa and Parikia.
Entertainment and Music:
Paros offers a dynamic music and entertainment scene, seamlessly blending vibrant nightlife with more relaxed, music-focused experiences across its main hubs and hidden spots.
For those seeking live music, Pirate Bar in Parikia often hosts blues and jazz performances, while Sativa Music Bar features occasional live sets from local and visiting bands, embracing rock and funk genres. In Parikia's main square, Koukoutsi frequently offers evenings with live Greek music, providing an authentic local experience. Resalto Bar on Dryos Beach is a distinct spot known for its old classic rock selections.
1. Sommaripa Consolato
Type: Cocktail Bar
I recall the stunning sea views from its elevated balcony in Naoussa, especially as the sun began to dip below the horizon. The cocktails were meticulously crafted and presented, and the atmosphere in this historic spot felt both chic and relaxed.
Getting There: Sommaripa is located in the old port of Naoussa and is easily accessible on foot from anywhere within the town center.
2. Pirate Bar
Type: Bar
Stepping into Pirate Bar in Parikia felt like entering a cozy hideaway with its dim lighting and rustic brick arches. The focus here was on expertly mixed drinks, often incorporating local ingredients, and the laid-back jazz and blues music created a welcoming, unpretentious vibe.
Getting There: Situated in the narrow cobblestone streets of Parikia's market area, Pirate Bar is within walking distance of the main port and town center.
3. Linardo
Type: Nightclub / Bar
The striking pink facade of Linardo in Naoussa's old port is instantly recognizable, and inside, the energy is infectious. This is where I found myself dancing late into the night, enjoying the lively atmosphere and the sea views from its unique location right by the water.
Getting There: Linardo is located directly by the old Venetian harbor in Naoussa, making it easily reachable by foot from any central Naoussa accommodation.
4. Punda Coast
Type: Beach Club
For a full-day experience transitioning into a vibrant party, Punda Coast was a highlight. With its large pool and ample lounging areas by the golden sand, it was easy to settle in for the day, and as the afternoon progressed, the music intensified, transforming it into an energetic beach club perfect for dancing.
Getting There: Punda Coast is located on the east coast of the island. It can be reached by bus from Parikia (the main bus hub) or Naoussa; bus tickets are generally affordable, starting around €1.80. Alternatively, a taxi can take you there, with costs varying based on distance and time of day.
