By Air:

The nearest major airport is Memmingen Airport (FMM), about 58-78 km away. Traveling from FMM to Füssen typically involves a shuttle to Memmingen train station, then a train, with journeys taking approximately 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 47 minutes and costing around €7-€11. Munich Airport (MUC) is a larger alternative, situated 118-161 km away, from which train travel to Füssen takes about 3 hours 16 minutes, often with transfers.

By Train:

Direct train services connect Füssen Station to major cities like Munich, with journeys from Munich Central Station (München Hbf) usually taking 2 hours to 2 hours 24 minutes. Ticket prices for this route generally range from €20 to €54, depending on how far in advance tickets are purchased and if they are direct. Frequent services, with around 20-25 trains daily, make rail a reliable option.

By Bus:

Long-distance buses, primarily operated by FlixBus, offer connections to Füssen.
