  • From Frankfurt am Main (or Airport): Travel generally takes around 2 hours 17 minutes to 2 hours 41 minutes. Ticket prices can start from €28 to €70 from the city, or from €75.18 from Frankfurt Airport.

By Bus:

The nearest airport is Erfurt-Weimar Airport (ERF), located about 25-30 km away, with travel to Weimar taking approximately 49 minutes. However, it offers limited connections. Larger international airports such as Leipzig-Halle (LEJ, about 120 km away) or Frankfurt Airport (FRA, about 300 km away) provide more flight options and good onward train connections.

By Car:

Weimar is accessible via the A4 Autobahn. Driving from Berlin typically takes around 2 hours 53 minutes and may cost between €35 and €55 for fuel.
