Paphos is primarily served by Paphos International Airport (PFO), the second-largest airport in Cyprus, facilitating air travel to and from the region. The city also has a robust local bus network with main stations in Paphos Town (Karavella Bus Station) and Kato Paphos (Harbour station).

Flights:

Paphos International Airport (PFO) offers direct flights from numerous cities globally, with major airlines including Ryanair, Jet2, and easyJet.

Buses:

From Paphos Airport, local bus routes 612 and 613 connect to the city. Route 612 serves Paphos Harbour and the Tombs of the Kings area, while route 613 goes to Paphos Old Town and Karavella Bus Station. A single ticket costs approximately €2 during the day (until 21:00) and €3 at night (after 21:00). The journey to the city center takes about 25-30 minutes.

Taxis:

Taxis are readily available at Paphos Airport. A taxi ride to Paphos city center typically costs around €18 during the day and €21.40 at night, with a travel time of approximately 17-20 minutes.

Private Transfers/Shuttles:

Pre-booked private transfers are an option, with prices starting from approximately €33 for a private transfer or €12-€18 for a shuttle. The journey typically takes about 19-20 minutes.

Car Rental:

Renting a car is highly recommended for exploring Paphos and beyond, offering flexibility to reach areas less serviced by public transport. Various rental companies operate at Paphos Airport, with daily rates generally starting from $18-$26 or £29. Booking approximately three weeks in advance can secure better prices.
