Larnaca, Cyprus, is primarily served by Larnaca International Airport (LCA), which functions as the island's main air gateway, and by Larnaca Port, offering sea connections to Greece during specific seasons.

Flights:

Larnaca International Airport (LCA) connects to numerous European and Middle Eastern destinations. Major airlines such as Wizz Air, easyJet, Cyprus Airways, Jet2, and Eurowings offer direct flights from cities including London, Athens, Paris, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Manchester, and Düsseldorf.

Ferries:

A ferry service, the MS Daleela, operates between Piraeus (Athens, Greece) and Larnaca, extended through summer 2027. The journey from Piraeus to Larnaca takes approximately 32 hours. In 2023, return tickets for a simple seat were around €68.60, a first-class cabin about €138.60, and transporting a car cost approximately €212.98 return.

Public Bus (from LCA):

Buses provide an economical way to travel from Larnaca Airport. Routes like 407, 417, 425, 429, 430, 431, and 432 serve the city center and Finikoudes Promenade. A single journey to the city center costs €2.40 during the day (06:00-21:00) and €4.00 at night (after 21:00), taking approximately 20-50 minutes. Buses run frequently from the Upper Departure Level exit.

Shuttle Buses (from LCA to other cities):

Shuttle services, such as Kapnos Airport Shuttle, connect LCA to major cities like Nicosia (approx. 40-50 minutes, hourly departures), Limassol (approx. 45 minutes via Limassol Airport Express), and Ayia Napa (approx. 45 minutes).

Taxis (from LCA):

Taxis are readily available 24/7 outside the terminal. The ride to Larnaca city center is about 9-15 minutes, with metered fares averaging €9.30 during the day (06:00-20:30) and €11.20 at night (20:30-06:00). Fares to Nicosia are around €40 (day) and €48 (night), and to Limassol, €55 (day) and €64 (night) for up to four passengers. Additional fees may apply for luggage or larger groups.

Car Rental (from LCA):

Several car rental companies, including Avis, Sixt, Hertz, Europcar, CarWiz, AERCAR, and Green Motion, operate at Larnaca International Airport, with desks in the arrivals hall. Driving in Cyprus is on the left side of the road.
