From Split Airport (SPU) to Split City Center:

  • Take a taxi or Uber, which typically costs €25-45.
  • Utilize the airport bus service for approximately €6, with a journey time of about one hour.

From Split to Hvar Town (Foot Passengers):

  • Fast catamaran services directly connect Split to Hvar Town, with several daily departures.
  • The journey usually takes around 55 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
  • Ticket prices for foot passengers range from approximately €6 to €25, varying by operator and season.
  • Major operators include Jadrolinija, Kapetan Luka (Krilo), and TP Line.
  • Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during peak season, as services can sell out.

From Split to Hvar Island (with a Car):

  • Car ferries operate from Split to Stari Grad, another town on Hvar Island, a journey of approximately two hours.
  • Expect to pay around €50 per vehicle, plus passenger tickets.
  • From Stari Grad port, a bus service to Hvar Town is available for about €5, taking around 40 minutes. Taxis are also an option, costing upwards of €60.
  • Alternatively, a car ferry runs from Drvenik (south of Split) to Sućuraj on Hvar's eastern tip, a 30-minute crossing, followed by about a 90-minute drive to Hvar Town.

From Dubrovnik to Hvar Town:

  • Seasonal catamaran services are available, with a travel time of approximately 3.5 hours.
