Zagreb's primary transport hubs include Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG), the Zagreb Main Bus Station (Autobusni Kolodvor Zagreb), and the Zagreb Main Railway Station (Glavni Kolodvor).

By Air:

Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG) connects Zagreb to numerous international destinations. From the airport to the city center, travelers can take a taxi (around €33-€33.50, 20-30 minutes) , use ride-sharing apps like Uber or Bolt (around €13-€17, 20-25 minutes) , take the public ZET bus line 290 to Kvaternikov Square (€0.53 - €0.80, 35-75 minutes) , or use the Pleso Prijevoz airport shuttle bus to the Main Bus Station (€8, 35-40 minutes) . Flights from European cities such as London can be found for as low as €30-€40 return, while flights from further destinations like New York City may cost around €517-€776 return.

By Train:

Zagreb's Main Railway Station (Glavni Kolodvor) provides connections across Croatia and to neighboring countries. Direct trains from Ljubljana, Slovenia, take approximately 2 hours 8 minutes to 2 hours 25 minutes, with tickets from about €31. From Vienna, Austria, a direct train takes approximately 6.5 hours, with fares starting at €29.90. The journey from Budapest, Hungary, takes around 5.5 hours. Trains from Munich, Germany, can take between 8 hours 28 minutes and 12 hours 35 minutes, typically requiring one change, with tickets starting from around €30.50.

By Bus:

The Zagreb Main Bus Station offers extensive national and international routes. Buses from Ljubljana, Slovenia, can take approximately 2 hours, with tickets from €12. From Split, Croatia, bus tickets start around €23.40, and from Dubrovnik, they are around €36. International routes include services from cities like Munich, Paris, and Sarajevo, with varied costs and travel times.

By Car Rental:

Several international and local car rental companies operate at Zagreb Airport and within the city. Rental prices can vary, with weekly rates potentially ranging from €120 to €210 depending on the season.
