  • Taxi:: A taxi ride to Nagoya Station typically costs around ¥14,500, plus expressway tolls, and takes about 40-50 minutes.

From Tokyo:

  • Shinkansen (Tokaido Shinkansen):: Direct services from Tokyo Station to Nagoya Station take approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the train type (Nozomi is fastest at around 100 minutes, Hikari about 110 minutes). Fares typically range from ¥10,560 for a non-reserved seat to around ¥11,000 for a reserved seat.
  • Highway Bus:: Buses offer a more economical alternative, with journeys lasting 5 to 7 hours. Fares can vary widely from ¥2,000 to ¥7,500, with some early bird discounts available.

From Osaka:

  • Shinkansen (Tokaido Shinkansen):: Bullet trains from Shin-Osaka Station to Nagoya Station are efficient, taking about 51 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes. Ticket prices are generally between ¥5,000 and ¥7,500.
  • Kintetsu Railway Limited Express:: This option connects Osaka Namba Station to Kintetsu Nagoya Station in roughly 2 hours, with a one-way fare around ¥4,990.
