From Tokyo:
Shinkansen (Tokaido Shinkansen):: Direct services from Tokyo Station to Nagoya Station take approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the train type (Nozomi is fastest at around 100 minutes, Hikari about 110 minutes). Fares typically range from ¥10,560 for a non-reserved seat to around ¥11,000 for a reserved seat.

From Osaka:
